London, U.K. – July 20, 2017 – Milestone Sports, a U.S. and Israeli-based sports tech company, announces Foot Logic Ltd. of Edinburgh, will manage retail growth in the United Kingdom and Ireland, as well as its Amazon.co.uk business. In the past year, Milestone Sports has focused on expanding outside of North America by signing partners and distributors in Australia, Thailand, Philippines and most recently, Europe.
The MilestonePod (£29.95) is a no-fuss running tracker built to help users improve performance, stay healthy and monitor shoe life. The Pod runs on a replaceable coin battery and does not need a GPS signal. Users sync their Pod with a free App to view performance data and foot-based metrics such as cadence, foot strike and rate of impact.
This agreement with Foot Logic Ltd adds a second country to the company’s European mix. Recently, the company signed ProRun as its sole distributor in the Netherlands.

Milestone Sports offers a platform to automate in-app delivery of real-time messages based on individual Pod measures: shoe life, performance data and gait metrics. The company believes these messages, often coaching tips, offers and rewards, hold a higher value to users than generic customer emails or general loyalty programs, since the messages are specific to a user’s performance, and arrive at the exact moment of need.
The U.K. launch of the MilestonePod coincides with the release of real time firmware, enabling the foot pod data to be seen on compatible 3rd party apps and watches. An App refresh with new features will launch later this summer.
